The decision to be an AMA is an important one and one that will ultimately change your life. Ask yourself: Why do I want to serve? What gifts can I offer? What gifts do I need to grow? Pray about it.

What's the process?

First step: Conversation with the AMA director (please contact Sandra Piwko at: sandy@assumptioncenter.org to set up a phone conversation before applying).

Second step: If it is determined that AMA could be a good fit for you, the next step is filling out our application. Application is accessible here. Contact the director for a separate application for L'Arche.​

Supporting Forms

• Two references - one personal (non-family member), and one professional to be sent directly from the reference.. (accessible here)

• Medical form completed by your doctor or your college Health & Wellness Center. (accessible here)

• Conversation with a licensed counselor, or staff at your college Health & Wellness/Counseling Center. (accessible here)

• $10.00 application fee - pay by PayPal with the "donate" button.

 

Final step: Virtual or in-person interview (scheduled with the Director after all forms and letters are received.)
